Purpose

The purpose of this role is to provide our external and internal customers Shared Services customers with technical expertise on the Microsoft .NET platform

Contributes to the maintenance and improvement of Readify’s business software systems.

Pre-requisite Knowledge and Experience

Technical skill around the Microsoft .NET Platform, Developer/Programmer skills – minimum five (2) years

Key Tasks

Demonstrate technical and professional elitism and an intimate understanding of Readify solutions and standards when delivering the Shared Services function by:

·         Provide technical programming expertise (Microsoft .Net) to the Shared Services team.

·         Communicate professionally and appropriately with stakeholders at all times.

·         Effectively manage time and task prioritisation on a daily basis using Readify's tools.

·         Ensure the correct protocol is followed within the Shared Services team.

·         Contribute to development teams to deliver projects using scrum methodology.

·         Maintain accurate documentation for all projects.

·         Document and maintain our internal processes and procedures.

·         Develop Knowledge Base articles where appropriate.

·         Coordinate the deployment of projects into their respective environments.

·         Improve and document internal development and deployment processes.

·         Effectively deploy and projects.

·         Ensure that Readify’s systems continue to use the latest Microsoft technology.

·         Work with the business to provide appropriate training materials so that our users know how to use our systems and applications effectively.

·         Report and escalate issues to Team Leader and / or General Manager.

·         Developers within Readify will actively participate in the company’s Professional Development program by:

o   Nominating and agreeing on areas of interest and value to Discover and Master as part of our PD Program.

o   Contributing to the general knowledge of the organisation by actively seeking valuable information (via blogs and other mechanisms) and then sharing them with the group by documenting discoveries to the company knowledge base and or presenting to other Technical staff.

o   Approaching all Professional Development assignments and opportunities as if our collective futures depend on it, because they do.  Time spent on Professional Development must be as productive and measurable as any other assignment.

o   Undertaking measurable assessments that validate the learning outcomes achieved.  This may include exams and certification.
