Job Description

Ø   Conduct site inspection to verify the readiness of activities before raising  RFI (Request For Inspection) to avoid violation comments  from Saudi Aramco project inspection division (SAPID) representatives.

Ø  Preparation of inspection procedures for materials, components  as well as installation activities.

Ø  Conduct inspection on all components and materials for the above mentioned installations delivered at site and make sure that these have materials/product Test  certificate (MTC),  and  purchase order from approved Saudi Aramco vendors and inspection release from manufacturers

Ø  Accompany the SAPID representative to carry out routine inspection on the categories of witness and hold points.

Ø  Preparation of installation procedures and getting them approved by Saudi Aramco.

Ø  During site works ensure that the Construction procedures are followed. Also ensure that all related Inspection tests are conducted during installation and commissioning.

Ø  Make mark ups for preparing ‘as-built’ drawings. Ensure that ‘as built’ drawings are prepared in accordance with Saudi Aramco drafting standards

 

Experience 

Ø  At least 10 years experience as Mechanical Engineer in Construction of Oil & Gas/Petrochemical plants/Refineries focusing on HVAC, steel structures, Plumbing and fire protection systems of which 5 years shall be as Mechanical QC Inspector.

Ø  Capability to read and interpret Technical drawings and schematics related to the above.

Ø  Shall have knowledge in Saudi Aramco Engineering standards (SAES), Inspection procedures (SAIP), Preparation of Quality documentation  including specifications, Inspection records and qualification records in line with Saudi Aramco Material System specifications (SAMMS)  and in Saudi Aramco formats

Ø  Shall be aware of Saudi Aramco Engineering procedures and reporting ( SAEP and SAER), Saudi Aramco Product specifications (SAPS), Saudi Aramco Construction specifications, Saudi Aramco Lubrication manual, and Construction Safety Manual.

Ø  Shall be well versed in International standards related  to  HVAC, Steel structures, Plumbing and Fire protection systems

Ø  Capable of preparing inspection procedures, conduct  inspections, and Reports, initiate Non Conformance Reports (NCR) to highlight violations and non complying practices during construction. 

Ø  Knowledge of Saudi Aramco typical inspection procedures (SATIP) and Inspection Check lists (SAIC).
